Betamax Video to DVD Conversion
Betamax is a video recording format developed by Sony in the mid 1970s. The Betamax format competed with VHS and was actually considered to be a better quality than VHS, however due to a number of reasons the VHS format became the predominant domestic video format.
Many of the Betamax tapes we receive are now displaying various levels of age related deterioration. This is often seen as snow or specks of video noise and shadowy bars scrolling up the screen. It's important to act fast to avoid these tapes deteriorating to a point where the image information is lost entirely.
We also transfer all film formats and analogue audio tapes:
16mm, 8mm, 9.5mm and Polaroid Polavision Cassettes.
